A Turkish company signed a contract to supply the Romanian capital with 400 transport buses
Turkey's auto giant Autocar has signed a deal with Romanian capital Bucharest to supply 400 public transport buses, the largest ever planned bus export deal.
In a statement, Autocar of the Koç Holding Group said it was issuing public transport buses to about 50 countries around the world.
As part of its agreement with the municipality of Bucharest, the Turkish company will export about 400 public transport buses in separate installments during 2018-2019 and will provide after sales services for eight years.
The signing ceremony was held in the Romanian capital in the presence of the city's mayor, Gabriel Freyan, and the general manager of Autocar, Cirdar Gorgoc.
